 Cambridge House is a very high standard small, friendly, family owned by Debbie & Dave the house built in the traditional Lakeland style in 1873 is a victorian house, with many original features. We take great pride in our warm friendly atmosphere and extra tasty home-cooked breakfast which give our guests that home from home feel. Every effort will be made to ensure your trip is a pleasurable one, from tips on places to visit, free use of local maps, walks, cycle routes and much more. We're just a minutes walk from all restaurants and shops in Windermere and only five minutes walk from the railway/coach station. Also Lake Windermere is only a pleasant 15 minute stroll away, guests staying two nights or more can enjoy free use of the nearby Leisure Facilities of Parklands Country Club (approx 1 mile away). Please note no Hen or stag parties, Cambridge House is gay friendly, we do not have a manned reception, please provide an accurate arrival time on booking, to ensure that you are greeted on arrival without delay.
